Kevel review

Kevel (formerly Adzerk) provides ad serving as a set of APIs that engineering teams use to build their own ad platforms and retail media networks. It is very flexible, but you need developers to get started.

Our verdict

Kevel is a toolkit rather than a ready-made ad server. Its APIs and documentation are among the best we score, and it is widely used for sponsored listings and retail media. The trade-off is time and people: launching means building on its APIs, prices are quoted, and it is a poor fit for a non-technical ad team. It also offers its own optional exchanges (Kevel Exchange and KRX).
